Aquaculture Conferences
AUMS Ltd. runs the Aquaculture Insurance & Risk Management series of conferences.
Starting in the '80s, the first events were held in the UK, but in 2004, the first international event was held in Tavira, Portugal. In 2006, the 10th Conference took place in Vigo, Spain, being notable for the fact that it was supported by the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations).
Sponsored by leading companies in the aquaculture insurance market, and again supported by FAO, the 11th Conference took place in Dubrovnik, Croatia, in March 2009. Delegates can an obtain details and download papers at:

The 12th Aquaculture Insurance & Risk Management Conference is scheduled to take place in Ireland (Subject to location of a suitable venue.) in Spring 2011.
